Next Step

Our Next Step training and resources help grown ups to start their own business or pursue a more meaningful career.
Most of us experienced a 'traditional' education at school of maths, history and English - all very important subjects - but today, we also need to know how to be enterprising and 'think' like entrepreneurs - so we can create our own inspiring businesses and community projects, and be more enterprising within our careers and community.
Many of us have parents / grandparents who worked in the one job, climbed the corporate ladder, and retired at 60 (with a lovely gold watch). But today, there is no such thing as job for life, job security or loyalty. No one is waiting to hand you your next promotion or hot new job. In fact, today you can expect to have 29 jobs in 5 different industries and 3 redundancies across your career lifetime.
Today, we want more than responsibilities and jumps up a ladder. We want satisfaction, promotion, training, ownership, and meaning.
The good news is you/your staff can learn how to create their own career opportunities, job satisfaction and security by developing their enterprise skills - so they're equipped to deal with whatever life (or the boss!) throws at them. You can help retain staff by investing in their growth, encouraging internal promotions, and actually showing you care by developing their interests and skills.
There are so many 'motivational' books and speakers who can make a great impression on us. But they don't provide the necessary skills, contacts, and training needed to develop and sustain our careers.
The best investment you can make is skills-training that develops the ability to create your own career opportunities so you're in control of your life, it's what we call ME Inc.
Since 2001, we've worked with thousands of people to develop their enterprise skills. Our workshops and resources are highly rated, evaluated, and recommended by a wide variety of clients - from corporates and government departments, to young people in universities and schools.
